Fishing Trip was epic Yesterday.
Charm caught a Perch off of the Dertroit River, then we moved to Belle Isle.
I caught some Pumpkinseeds, and a blue gill. Mainy caught a juvenille Largemouth bass and some more sunfishes. It was a fun trip and I got sunburn so badly.
We made some firends, wandered in the water and generally were a little nuts. I want to go back so badly.

I've seen alot of good done and have done some good myself.
I think, I'm going to need some assistance on this one.
As of late I've been feeling like I don't know what to do with my life and I've can't help thinking I'm a bit of useless in this life.
I can't ask for help,  It's just somehow I'm convinced I'm not worth it.
How can I change that? How can I make myself understant that I am worth something?

I have a twin and one night an ex-girlfriend of mine wanted to give us nicknames to tell us apart. It started with the Japanese word Strawberry Ichigo whose root words Ichi and Go were  the words for 1 and 5 . (we were taking the class at the time)
In the end I finally looked up Guilt because  my girl Cathryn is called Tsumi for Sin. So my sister and I became Guilt (Yuuzai) and Innocence (Muzai).
The Den is for the pack mentality we share with Tsumi, the three of us are Den.
In a nut shell it's lasted since High School.

• Leave me a comment saying "Resistance is Futile."
• I'll respond to the comment by asking you five questions so I can satisfy my curiosity
• Update your journal with the answers to the questions
• Include this explanation in the post and offer to ask other people questions (If anyone has questions for me, I'll answer those as well)

1.) If you could live anywhere in the world other than where you live now, where would you choose?
Years ago Japan would be the penultimate answer for me. But now when I sit and think... I remember England and the amazing breadth of land and rivers and it was amazing. Two weeks no matter how spent would never be enough there, but I have to say I'd live in Scotland. It was more beautiful than any place I've ever been.

2.) What is your hidden superpower?
You can laugh all you want at this, but I am an empath. Yeah sure I can empathize with others, but to be really honest, I can feel emotions. I used to be scared of it, because I would cry when anyone was sad, smile for no reason at all. At funerals or large gatherings I was a wreck, because the volume of emotion. Faire is a wonderful and terrible place all at once sometimes, literally knocks me to pieces. It still happens, but I'm not afraid of it anymore, it's part of who i am. I use what I feel to help people I care about and to make people feel better and that's better than anything I could ever do. I still cry when others are sad though.

3.) What was your favorite book/story as a child?
Oh God.... Just one?
Then good night moon, the Sib and I used to make mom read it every single night. We still have copies.

4.) If you had to pick one of your five senses to have enhanced (and the others diminish-but not eliminate), which would you choose?
Tough choice there too....
I would improve my sight. It is by far my weakest sense. Without my glasses the world is a blur of colors and shapes.
It's kinda sad, sometimes.

5.) What is one song/piece of music you can listen to over and over again without getting sick of?
I'm very good with classical music and rock and everything in between, but right now I'm all about Soundtracks. Anything by Michael Giacchino, Steve jablonsky and Hans Zimmerman is good in my book.
But the song I'm totally on about right now is Lux Aeterna Clint Mansell

D'lisa ,my best friend from high school, was over this week and it was epic.
We laughed at old friends TV and each other. Watched Star Trek made fun of that and cooked curry for dinner..
I cannot wait until my birthday. The girls and a few others are hanging and we're making Skittles Vodka. It s like a crazy little tradition.

On that note,
I'm not big on traditions, I call it stagnation, but we did have a tradition.... and we broke it.... Damn it. You can't postpone it.... either you do it or you don't. You can't quibble with this one!

Every year for as long as I can remember, the holiday tradition was waiting until 12-24 to get the tree. It started because the trees were usually free and then Charmaine and I wouldn't let go of it. Part of the fun was driving around singing and scouring lots for the perfect tree. It was just one of those things.
Mom canceled on the Wassail dinner because she was sick and for some unknown reason drives us all the way out to chesterfield.
There at the house of our mechanic Art was a 7-8 ft $55 Christmas tree.
Sheila, Art's wife is allergic to Pines and was going to try and have a real tree for son who was coming home fore the season, until she nearly died.
We got the tree in the back of the Van, Charmaine tucked under it and came on home.

So now we have a tree up...it's not decorated of course we're not doing that till the 24th, but man... It's too early to have a tree as long as we're concerned.
Now to clean up a bit...
Maybe salvage what's left of our tradition..
